Stacey Hart DIP MBACP

We all have a story to tell and at times we can feel overwhelmed.  I have over 20 years' experience as a private therapist in London, of supporting those who are experiencing difficulties in their mental health.  You might feel isolated, depressed or living with anxiety, going through a bereavement or struggling with relationships.

Asking for help can be daunting and quite a leap of faith. I can offer a safe environment to explore your thoughts and feelings, holding the hope for a brighter and better future.

As an integrative private therapist in London, I draw upon many different therapeutic approaches to help you understand your feelings and emotions working entirely at your own pace.  I have worked extensively with bereavement, loss, divorce, depression and anxiety.  I adapt to the needs of my clients and work with underlying tensions, events and issues that you are currently experiencing.

I have been in this profession for nearly 25 years working with clients aged 13 to 84. Very often life comes with challenges and changes that come alongside.  My practise is centred around you, I adapt my way of working to suit your needs to ensure you feel supported and understood.

How my counselling service works

Initial consultation:

Our meeting will be an opportunity for us to experience what it will be like to collaborate together. My style as a private therapist in London is integrative, and I take a holistic approach or whole-person approach, and will help you achieve your manageable goals.

Therapy sessions:

Each therapy session lasts around 50 minutes, and shall be a safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings, and enter dialogue to talk about any issues that are troubling you

A path towards wellbeing:

Short-term therapy, which typically comprises 12 sessions, is usually sufficient to deal with many issues, and help you discover your potential for a healthier, happier life. Some people are better served by ongoing therapy, which can last as long as you need.

My approach to therapy and counselling

I feel that my clients can make a change by constructing solutions rather than focusing on their problems. The benefits are huge as change will be certain and constant, with emphasis on what is changeable and possible.

I believe that we all have the resources and strengths to make positive changes in our lives.
